Nutshell

Yeah!!! Finally time to sit down and write! I feel so overwhelmed that I just haven't had the time lately; however, I hope I will have the next few minutes of silence to write. Oh...How I've missed it!

Anyway, the long and short of the past few weeks...Stayed at mom and dad's house...WEIRD!!...Back to school, the kids were glad to see me...me not so much to see them...Dealt with it for 12 days (then 1 day of professional development)....Didn't cry as much as I thought I would...Packed up my classroom--such a chore!... Loaded it up on Friday and moved it home!...RELIEF!!!!... Unloaded the car...loaded the car to go to the lake for the night...Went to Grand with Mark, Abby, Eugene, and Eric...Came home Saturday night...Had Colt's blessing on Sunday...Monday (Memorial Day) went swimming at mom and dad's (Colt's first time in the pool) then to Mark and Abby's for another cookout!

So, that was the past three weeks in a nutshell. I'll follow up with more details later. I'm glad it's over and summer has begun, however, I haven't stopped this week. Jenna and Pam Freeman are coming today and so I have spent the past three days cleaning the house. It looks better than it has in a loooong while! I love, love, love a clean house...It just makes me happy!
