An Ode to My Blog
I used to have a thing called a blog
But now it just sits here, still as a log.
Everything changed when I had a baby.
Now, I say I'll blog later...Maybe.
The naps he takes are only two,
and there is just too much laundry and dishes to do.
At night when he is fast asleep,
I have no time to get off my feet.
I miss the sound of the keyboard typing,
and knowing his Baby Diaries is what I'm writing.
So my friend, one day I'll return and blog once more,
but maybe when Colt's older...around age four?

Haha...Anyway, now that I have a second....literally, one maybe two seconds...Colt is getting SOOOO big! Here are three big milestones that we are in right now!
His top four..YES FOUR...teeth are about to pop through any second. That will be fun for the old milk jugs. :) But, seriously, he has not been too cranky about it at all. We've only given him Tylenol a couple of times, and he just keeps smiling!
He has been up on all fours rocking for about a week or so. He is so close to crawling! However, last night he was trying to pull up. Sooooo.....He might just decide to skip crawling altogether and walk. That would be crazy. I'm not sure I'm ready for him to be mobile, but I guess I don't get a vote.
Finally, he is waving (and sometimes saying) "Bye Bye". We've got the waving down to an art form, but he's a little stubborn on who he will say it to. That's okay though.
Okay, well I now have to sneak out of the bathroom and go make sure he hasn't started crawling (or walking) around my living room. Hopefully he's not a four year old before I make it back again...
haha, love the poem, hilarious! Let me know how that breastfeeding thing goes with teeth.. I'm impressed.
