Thanksgiving

My goal was to have my house decorated for Christmas BEFORE Thanksgiving this year. I felt like I had to really rush around to do it, but I got everything decorated except for our tree. Here's a peek...


Thanksgiving was great this year. I have so much to be thankful for! We had everyone to our house for food and fun! There were 15 people including, me, Chase, Colt, mom, dad, Mindie, Trav, Claire, Tiff, Nelson, Myra, RaeLynn, Cindy, Shirley, and Aunt Wilma. We ate a delicious meal and then sat around and talked and watched football. Colten had meat for the first time on Thanksgiving and, of course, it was turkey! I think ours was much better than his kind in a jar, but he seemed to like it!

I love this picture because it basically sums up their relationship. She is wanted to hug him/love him/kiss him and he has his hand in her face! :)



That night, we all went out and spent the night at Mindie and Travis's house to go shopping the next morning. Well, that was our initial plan, until we found out that the shopping we wanted to do at Walmart started at midnight, so we went that evening. Basically we left Mindie's around 11, got back at 1:30, left again at 3:30 and got home around 8. It was exhausting, but like always, a ton of fun!!

It was such a great first Thanksgiving for Colten.
