Back to Real Life...

Well, Christmas and New Year's is over and things are hopefully going to slow down. I finally got all of our Christmas decorations down. It's really kind of sad. I love putting up our decorations (the Sunday after Thanksgiving). It makes our house so magical to have "Hoho" (Santa) and "Ights" (Lights). This year, I felt rushed to take them down, but I wanted to have everything down before the Fiesta Bowl (Go Pokes!) on January 2. However, I have a pile of things that I forgot or have bought since Christmas that need to be put up. At some point I will get it all put away.

Today, Colten started back to Mom's Day Out. I was really worried that things would digress since before the break. However, he did great! He really loves school. I got to spend my day running some post-Christmas errands that I needed to get done and looking at a couple houses (yes, we are sorta kinda house shopping). Then, I had my super fun yearly doctor's appointment. Oh yeah, so fun!

I picked Colten up from school and we let him and Claire play on the playground for a little while. When they were playing, Colten fell about 3 or 4 feet off of one of the toys on the playground. He landed on the back of his head/neck/back. I freaked out! However, I knew that he was okay because he immediately started crying and got up on his own. I was a little worried for a few minutes, but very quickly he had stopped crying and was wanting to play more. I think his back and neck are sore, but okay...Thankfully. :)

Tonight went to Min and Trav's for dinner. Overall, it was a great day.
