The Baby Diaries: Kicks and Halloween

So, this has been a busy last week! Not only did we have Halloween and all the festivities that go along with it, Colt was also busy kicking!! Chase was able to feel him for the first time on Oct. 29th. I was laying on the couch watching Private Practice and Colt was moving around, as usual around that time of night when he started kicking! I thought I could feel it on the outside as well as the inside, but just to make sure, I had Chase come over and feel. It only took a minute and he was kicking Chase's hand, as well as the inside of my belly! It was really exciting!! We tried to get him to kick again at Mindie's on Halloween, but he didn't want any part of that! Mom thought she did feel him a little bit though! It's so exciting, except when I get kicked in the bladder when I already have to pee...

Anyway, it's been so busy with Halloween. In fact, I think we were busier this year than ever before. We went to Jen and Nick's on Friday, October 23 for a Halloween/Birthday party for Nikki and Abby. It was a costume party and we went as hippies. We really had a great time!

Then, Thursday, October 29th, I had bunco dinner with all the bunco girls at MinuteMan. We decided to dress up for Halloween too...Actually, Kassi and Tina decided that the rest of us should dress up, but in the end we really had fun and I was so glad we did it!

Finally, we spent Halloween at Mindie and Trav's with us, Mindie, Trav, Claire, Mom, Dad, Tiff, Brianne, Jeremiah, Aiden, Shane, Mel, Bekah, Ryann. We ate chili then went trick or treating. We had a relly good time and the kids as well as everyone looked great! Chase decided that we should all dress up, so that was a first, but it was so worth it!!
