Sick boy!

My baby was sick today! It had to be a reaction to his shots, since his doctor said yesterday that he was in "excellent health".

He woke up this morning (after having slept through the night by the way!) burning up. I took his temperature with his ear thermometer and it was 101.8 degrees. It really scared me a little bit, so I gave him Tylenol. Thirty minutes later his temp was still 101.3, but at that point he went back to sleep. His temp came as the morning progressed, but still spend the majority of the day over 99 degrees. He was very cranky and needy most of the day. This afternoon his fever broke and he started feeling a little better. He hadn't eaten much all day, so this evening I made him a 4oz bottle of breastmilk. He drank it all and was still acting hungry, so I fed him. He ate for a full five minutes on each side (the usual amount he eats)! I definitely think he is feeling better tonight!!!

It was a rough day, but we made it through! I felt so bad for my baby and I'm glad he's finally feeling better!!
