Growing Up

So baby boy is cutting his second tooth. I say tooth loosely because basically, it's through. I tried really hard to get a picture of it the other day, however, having to hold his bottom lip and tongue out of the way wasn't working too well and he was getting mad! One day I will get a picture!

He has started scooting as well. I'm not sure what if technically it's scooting or not, but he moves on his belly and it's not crawling. Today I put him on the center of a big quilt in the middle of the living room floor, and within 10 minutes he was halfway off the quilt.

I can't believe he is old enough to have teeth. I can't believe he is starting to maybe scoot/crawl. But more than anything, I can't believe his is nearly 6 months old! It seems like only yesterday I was thinking, he'll be 6 months in September and that's such a long way off. Now, September is almost here, my baby is getting teeth and before long, he will be completely mobile!

As excited as I am for all these new stages in his life, I don't know if I'm ready for him to grow up!
