Heaven

In about 2 hours we are leaving to take our first official family vacation and heading to my own little Heaven on earth, Cuchara. It's nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in southern Colorado.


Cuchara is located just west of La Veta in South Central Colorado

It's almost like stepping back in time when you go on main street (there's really just ONE main street in the town). The wooden boardwalks and store signs are wonderful.

They don't have a post office, but of course they have a liquor store!

It's so beautiful there, and there is so much to do. We will be spending the next few days hiking, fishing, going for long walks, and just enjoying God's beautiful creation called mountains.

We definitely don't have any of those in Oklahoma!

Now, I just have to get through 10+ hours in the car with a 6 month old and I will be in Heaven...
