Rylee Erin was born Tuesday, April 5 at 7:24 a.m. She weighed 8 lbs 7 oz, and measuring 20 3/4 inches long. Brianne, Jeremiah, and big brother, Aiden are all excited. So are "aunt" Katie and "uncle" Chase. She is such a great baby.
Then, later that week, Mom, Mindie, Claire, Colt, and I went to Arkansas to visit Uncle Don and Aunt Barbara. We also did some shopping while we were there. It was a jam packed two days. I felt like all we did was shop and eat! How fun!!! :)
This past weekend was Chase's 27th birthday! We took a trip to Dallas with Mark, Abby, Andrew, Nicky, and Jon. We headed down there on Friday afternoon and went strait to the outlet mall. After we shopped for a few hours, we went to dinner at Papadeauxs. It was AMAZING seafood!! Colt got in bed really late that night and had only had one nap that afternoon, so that was a bit challenging. The next morning, we got up and went to Sam Moon, then to lunch, then to IKEA. It was my first trip to IKEA and I LOVED it!!! We had a great day, even though my baby did not get a nap at all. Finally, we went to dinner for Chase's birthday on our way home. Overall, it was a great, though extremely busy two days. Happy birthday to my wonderful, handsome husband!!
So, that's just the big stuff. In between we've had babysitting, dinner with friends, basketball, severe weather, and MUCH more!!
My calendar this week is actually starting to look a little more white, and less penciled in. Maybe that means my blogging will fill in the blanks!
