Oh my busy life...

It's sad when I'm so far behind in my blogging that I have to upload my pictures in order to remember what all we've done that I need to blog about. Hopefully this blog plays catch-up a little bit! I was going to title this blog, "A Big Booboo, A Babyshower, Swimming, and The Big Announcement, but I figured that was too much. "Oh my busy life" seemed so much more appropriate!

My poor baby boy had his first accident about a month ago. My in-laws were over and Colten was very excited. He was running in the game room and fell and hit the door. Here is the result:
After keeping him up for an hour or so (it happened around 9:30 p.m., so it was already waaay past bedtime when he went to bed), and then waking him up an hour later to make sure he did not have a concussion, he was fine. However, the poor baby had a big knot for a few days and I'm sure his head hurt as well. Hopefully, there's no permanent damage. :)

Then, a few weeks ago I hosted a baby shower for my big sister. Baby Graham is set to arrive June 28th, though we all think he will make his appearance before then! I did a classic race car theme equipped with tires on the table, my grandpa's antique racing trophies, and a pedal car to greet guests! My house was PACKED! But, it was so much fun and I think she is ready for Graham to arrive!

Guests and Gifts!!

Both Claire and Colten loved helping open the gifts. I know Claire is going to be a wonderful big sister. She is so excited for Graham's arrival!

Mimi and Papa opened their poor earlier this month. Claire and Colt love swimming!

But, they also love the water table...Ignore the frown...I swear he loves it!!

Finally, we have a big announcement at our house...

Anybody know what this is?
How about this?
Do you see it?

No?? Use your imagination!
Okay, I'll just tell you...

This...my friends...is our land and the place where we are going to build our dream house in a few years!!!
YEAH!!!

Until then though, this...
is our wonderful, beautiful, bug/tick/spider/snake filled ten acres!!
