Sometimes, don't kid yourself, not often, but sometimes I will wake up early to get stuff done before Little Man wakes up. I mean, most days I roll out of bed when I hear him on the monitor and we start our day together. But, sometimes I get all motivated and get up early. Whether its to drink my coffee in peace, spend a little quiet time reading my Bible, work a little bit, blog (haha..quit laughing now), or even do a little housework; the still of the morning is quite nice.
However, without fail, the days that I decide to get up early to drink, read, work, blog, etc. Little Man is up not five minutes after my alarm goes off. Think I'm joking? I'm not. For the past days, weeks, maybe even months, Little Man has been waking up anywhere from 7:30 to 8:00. That's his routine. I like it, he likes it. This morning, I got up at 6:50, because I had some stuff I needed to get done before being gone all day. I got up and went to work, working hard to get everything done because I knew I had approximately 40 minutes...
At 7:05, I heard him on the monitor for the first time. I ignored it. Heard him again at 7:07 and 7:08. By 7:10 he was crying and at 7:13, I went to rescue him.
So much for my early productive morning. It's a conspiracy I tell you. However, that conspiracy has given me time to write this blog...So maybe that's why he is conspiring against me!
Don't worry, I'll be sleeping until he wakes me up tomorrow.
