It's so lovely when they start sleeping through the night. (Colt has now done it three times by the way). It's very lovely that you get 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep for the first time in months, And then you wake up...
And you wake up with GIANT, ENGORGED boobs!!
And these giant rock-hard lumps on the front of your chest are painful!!
And even though your boobs are huge, it's definitely not sexy.
And when you get your crying, starving baby...who hasn't eaten all night...out of his bed to nurse, he usually won't be too interested in your giant, engorged, painful, non-sexy boobs.
And he might just drink a little bit. :(
And then you have to get out of bed and go pump.
And even though you've had a lovely 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, you're up at 6:30 in the morning pumping.
And that, my friends, is not fun.
BUT, then you go climb back into your bed with your baby boy and husband that the world is at peace once again. They're waiting on me...See?
