Shots

Colten went to Dr. Raley today for his 2 month check-up. Here are his stats:

Weight 12 lb. 4 oz. (65%)
Height 23.5 inches (73%)
Head 39 cm (28%)

Dr. Raley said everything looked great and we had a perfect baby...That's always nice to hear even though I knew it before we even set foot in the doctor's office! However, after telling us how perfect our baby was, he sent the evil, mean, hateful nurse in to give Colt shots. Okay, so she's not evil, mean, or hateful, in fact she's super sweet, but I have to call her that for Colt's sake. So, the evil nurse had the FOUR SHOTS to give him! I had taken Chase with me for moral support and to hold Colt while I cried in the corner, like I knew I was bound to do. However, Chase wouldn't hold him. He said he couldn't...Whatever!! So I had to hold my screaming baby as the evil nurse stabbed him FOUR TIMES!!! Here is the proof:




Even though he screamed his head off, I surprisingly, did not cry. He recovered from his inital wounds quickly; however, he hasn't felt good all day and hasn't wanted to eat. We gave him more Tylenol around 7:30 or so and he crashed out about 8:00. My poor baby!

Now, we get to look forward to doing it again in 2 months...I think I'll make my mom go, at least she'll hold him and I can cry in the corner next time.
