A Post About Poo

Colt, my poor, sweet baby boy, could not poo. It was pretty sad actually. But, maybe I should rephrase myself. He couldn't poo WELL. He could poo like a rabbit, or even like a mouse, but not like a healthy six-month-old, such as himself, should be able to poo. So, I did what any mother would do and introduced the lovely purple, bitter, poo-inducing fruit, prunes. For two days, Colt ate prunes, and still nothing happened. He acted fine, no belly ache or anything, but as his mother I knew best, I knew he needed to poo. Day three came, and I was prepared to feed him prunes again, when the flood gates opened. At first they opened in his new pool...

(Warning, the following pictures contain poo...If you don't want to see it, don't look!)

This is Colt and Claire PP (pre-poo). She loved swimming with him.

She got out to play in the dirt, and he took the liberty to allow the prunes to do their work. YUCK-O!

After we had washed it out and the kids had taken a nap, we got in the pool again. Claire would not sit down in the pool. She kept saying poo-poo! Haha!!

Since then, Colt has had no problem pooing. I think it just needed to start, and them prunes helped that out! In the future, I just need to remember the golden rule: NO SWIMMING AFTER EATING PRUNES!!
