As I sit and type this, Colt is laying on the floor screaming. I thought maybe he would notice the ceiling fan or TV (he loves to watch both) and calm down, but that's a no go, so now I'm going to pick him up...
And now I get to chicken-peck type because I'm holding my baby with my other hand...Arg...I hate chicken-peck typing!!!
Anyway, I feel really behind blogging because I have had no time lately. This one won't be long either (remember, I'm chicken pecking?)
Being a mom is amazing. But being Colt's mom is even more amazing! I am so blessed to be his mommy! He is starting to recognize my voice and touch. He seems to calm down when I talk to him or hold him. For the first time on Monday, he responded to my smile by smiling back! It was so exciting!! He has only done it a couple times now, but it's so exciting when he does! I love this little boy sooo much!
