Catch Up Part 3

Last Friday, Colt and I had our first alone outing. We only went to grandma's house, but I was scared to death! The only time we had been out before that was 1)when we came home from the hospital and 2) when we when to the doctor. Both times, Chase drove us and I rode with Colt in the backseat. It was scary having to drive and worry about him in the back all at the same time. However, we made it there and back (and even went to Aunt Mindie's too) in one piece. I think Colt enjoyed it because he slept the whole time.

Soo...even though I seriously debated going out with him on Friday, I'm glad I did. The weather was BEAUTIFUL and 75 degrees. Then, on Saturday a cold front came in and we got 6 inches of snow. The high Saturday was 34 and the high today has been about the same. Colt didn't leave the house!! I got out today and went to Becky's shower, but he is snug and warm at home! This week is supposed to warm back up so we may try to venture out again sometime.

I'm really enjoying having our little man and watching him grow and change already. I can't believe how time has already flown by with him!
