Making his debut!

Today was our first day out...I mean really out. I needed a dress to wear to Carnivale (which will be our first official date since Colt's arrival--more on that later), so Chase met me at Tulsa Hills to do a little shopping. Initially I was going to meet my mom and Claire, but Claire's nap ran late and I would rather have our first day "out" with Chase anyway. :)

So, Chase met us at Target and for our first stop, he just stayed in the car with Colt while I ran in. I found a dress, but wanted to make sure it was the right one. Next we went to Belk, the Marshalls, then Ross. Chase and Colt came in with me to all three of those places. Of course Colt slept the entire time and did amazing. Have I mentioned lately that I have the best baby in the world? Our last stop was back to Target, to get the initial dress that I had looked at. The boys stayed in the car again, and after purchasing the dress, I came out and Chase had gotten Colt out of his seat and was holding him, because he had gotten fussy, but they were doing good. Colt and I raced home because it was eating time by that point. He slept the whole way home, so I knew he was fine.

Even though he slept the entire time and won't remember it at all...Come to think of it, I didn't take a single picture either...But, overall, it was a great day and I couldn't imagine a better first public appearance!!
