It has begun...

This past Saturday started something at our house. It happens every year. There is no stopping it. There is nothing I can do to help it. My child, as well as myself, have been sucked into it. Saturday kicked off the 2011 football season!!!

Chase has been waiting months for Saturday. As for me, well I have been dreading it. Maybe not dreading it, but not jumping up and down exciting for the TV to be on channel 140 (ESPN), 141 (ESPN 2), or any other sports channel watching football all day long! Don't get me wrong, I love me some Oklahoma State Cowboys, but for me, that's about were it ends. Sure, I'll cheer for TU, Iowa, and a few other select teams, but I'm not big on watching football from sun up until way after the sun goes down. And, don't even get me started on the pre-game, post-game, recaps, sports centers, and anything else!

Okay, anyway, back to this weekend. Because Saturday was OSUs first game, Saturday was orange Saturday at our house! This year, we have also decided to enact Friday nights to be orange Friday night.

Since, both of my boys are huge football fans, I guess I have no other choice than to spend my Saturdays for the next few months watching football. I only have two words for you...
