A lot from two days.

Is it only me, or does it seem like a blank calendar fills up faster than a new diaper? Seriously, this week I went from only having a couple things going on to a full schedule!

Monday, I babysat in the morning, then Little Man had his 18 mo. check-up. He weighed 26.9 lbs (75%) and was 33 inches long (56%). He is growing so much! A few funny things from his appointment...I asked Dr. R if the gap between his teeth would close any time soon. He told me it would...in about 10 years...when we put braces on him! :) I also asked about switching him to a toddler bed. He told me to keep him confined as long as possible. I was like, "okay, so until he's about 6 or so?" He said if I could, do it! :) He also went on to say that Colt looked like a perfect and healthy little guy. For the first time ever, Colt sat perfectly still during his check-up, but then screamed bloody murder during his shots! Poor baby!!

Then, yesterday Colt had his first haircut! I'll post pictures later, but he did so good! We took him to Chase's cousin, Rachelle. She cuts Chase's hair and we knew she would do a good job with Colt as well. We initially sat him on the kids booster seat, and he did fine until she tried to put the cape on him. We decided to take him off the booster and let Chase hold him. She tried to put the cape back on him, but he wasn't having any of that! So, we just went capeless. We gave him a sucker and he sat perfectly still for the majority of the time! In the end, his hair doesn't look that much different, but definitely more clean-cut, and we nixed the mullet! Yeah!!

After the haircut, Brianne, Aiden, and Riley came for a visit!! We had fun spending the day with them, and somehow we miraculously got Aiden and Colt to each take a 4 HOUR NAP!! It was wonderful to have some mommy time and just get to catch up with Brianne.

Today was pretty low-key. We had to run a couple errands then spent the evening with Whitney and Noah. Tomorrow Colten has school, then we leave Friday for Iowa. My blank calendar filled up quickly!

Hope your week isn't as busy as mine!!
